Let's Talk Pets Scholarships
My Story
Passion for Animals
My name is Tasheeka Stewart. In 2015 I graduated from North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University with my B.S. in Animal science. Each year I was unsure of where the money would come from for tuition and each year my classes were dropped due to insufficient funds. There were many times I thought I wouldn't be able to complete school because I couldn't afford it.Somehow with the help of friends, family, and yearly academic scholarships from my department I made it to graduation day . That is where the Let's talk pets scholarship was formed. I wanted to be able to keep others from having to put their dreams on hold due to financial hardships and hope that this scholarship can benefit someone the way other's generosity benefited me.
